The arrested man has acknowledged the relationship, writes Bergens Tidende.
– He claims it happened in self-defense. It was he who even reported to the police. He is not charged with anything concrete yet, says operations Kjersti Eidsnes Hordaland police.
Another man is also arrested, charged with complicity in the stabbing.
Police received notification of violence at 13.45 Sunday afternoon.
The 44-year old man who was stabbed, was flown by air ambulance to Haukeland University Hospital. The time 16.15 enlightened hospital that his condition is critical.
Three witnesses, who should have been in the apartment during the incident, was taken in for questioning by police.
– The one witness was apparently turned down inside the apartment, said Eidsnes.
He was taken by ambulance and taken to a check with the doctor.
Police inform that all the persons in question are well known to them from before. They must have belonged to a drug infected environments.
