King in Council will Friday appoint a special attorney for the police to be able to submit it secret evidence against Mullah Krekar in Court of Appeal.
– Police want to lead evidence that is graded, and we are dependent on a decision by the King in Council, cf. the Immigration Act § 133, for this to be feasible. Implementation of the appeal will necessarily depend somewhat on the outcome of this minister treatment and therefore it has not been appropriate to take up the matter for decision until this is clarified, said police inspector Vegard Rødås Aftenposten.
The independent lawyer will get the task of providing an assessment of the validity of the proof.
– It underpins further what we have argued in the case, namely that he is a danger national security, said police inspector Vegard Rødås NRK.
