Mild instability and little good weather – Telemarksavisa

Mild instability and little good weather – Telemarksavisa

– The unstable, shifting and fairly mild weather continues into next week. It will rain occasionally throughout the country, and it will probably not be stable good weather in some places, said state meteorologist Arild Mentzoni said.

The precipitation falls as rain or sleet in the lowlands of southern Norway. It is not particularly large quantities. Western Norway is probably most vulnerable, says weatherman.

There will be mild in eastern and most of southern Norway through the weekend. In the mountains there are lower temperatures and with dry weather and calm wind conditions it can open the possibility of fine skiing and the opportunity to see the sun, reports Yr.no.

OPPORTUNITY FOR SOL

After a prolonged period of unusually high temperatures for the season, it runs thus against some cooler days already from the weekend. Especially people who are starting or ending winter in the mountains of southern Norway this weekend noticed that the mercury creeps a piece below zero at night.

– Juvasshytta had such heat 1 degree night to Thursday, but here it gets colder. In the mountain precipitation from Friday already come as snow, and it is therefore generally better conditions for skiing than it has been for a while, think Mentzoni.

milder than PLAIN

After a blue with cold January, February been far milder than normal throughout the country. Where the sun manages to squeeze through the cloud cover will be able to heat well cheeks in the coming days.

– It gets a little varying temperatures, but milder than normal. The sun begins to get more and more power, so it can be higher daytime temperatures around the country, says statsmeteorologen.

well over the normal

In the lowlands of southern Norway will show the thermometer around zero at night and a little more in the daytime. Also in Nordland can experience plus degrees in the daytime.

– It is whatever mild for the season. Normally we have now passed the coldest part of winter, yet we remain above normal in February the entire country, says Mentzoni.

Meteorologists in Oslo, Bergen and Tromsø alerts increasing wind the next few days, up to gale both in coastal areas and in the mountains. Especially parts of western Norway and Nordland will Saturday and parts of Sunday get some wind, but far away extreme weather Ole.

From Monday night it may be reasonably fresh, and it will approach storm south of Stad and Dovre.

This week schools in large parts of the country had winter, while many counties following week nine. Then closes schools in Buskerud, Oppland, Aust and Vest Agder, Hordaland, Nordland and Troms.
