Conservatives and the Progress Party may withdraw armament proposal – Aftenposten

Wednesday it became known that the Liberals and Christian Democrats to form a common front with the Labor and states that it is unacceptable to support the Government’s proposal politibevæpning. Thus it is not parliamentary majority for the proposal. Now warns government two parties Conservatives and the Progress Party that the proposal may be withdrawn, writes the class struggle.

– There is no point for FRP asking proposal if we know it will be voted down by Parliament, says parliament Jan Arild Ellingsen in FRP.

– It is not certain there will be a matter of general armament, says Conservative representative Hårek Elvenes. He stressed that if the proposal is first submitted, both parties stand behind.

Justice Minister Anders Anundsen (FRP) will ultimately determine whether the proposal is set or not.

– Anders is an astute guy, he sees an terrain before he embarks on a long trip, says Ellingsen.
