Four injured in train accident in Trondheim – Aftenposten

The accident occurred when a train failed to brake and ran into a so-called end pull. Emergency services are on site along with railway personnel.

The train was of NSB Class 92, the steam locomotive type consisting of diesel cars. The train is mostly used on commuter Trondheim and Meråkerbanen, and occasionally, as the train which today ran into the stopper on Rørosbanen.

The trains were delivered between 1984 and 1985. One of the sets was destroyed in Asta -accident 4 January 2000 when 19 people died.
