Two drivers as the need to contact the police, when they failed to agree on who of them that should reverse.
We received a message that two cars stood right against each other on a small, narrow road. There was traffic in both directions, but only room for one vehicle at a time, ” says operasjonsleder Vidar Pedersen to TV 2.
Both drivers refused, however, to bite into the sour apple and the back.
It started to gather some traffic behind the cars in each direction. Thankfully, we were able through the mediation on the telephone to get one party back, ” says Pedersen.
He says that it is not everyday that the police be contacted to determine such disputes.
– Just an inquiry as this I can’t remember having had before. But it happens that people call in about the inconsistencies in the traffic, ” he says.
On Twitter react more that the drivers have gotten the police to settle the dispute.
trust you on principle refuse to move out here? If nothing else, because you have better and more important things to do, write one.
Since the police are not dispatched to the site, will not operasjonslederen figure in whether or not one of the motorists had a duty to reverse or not.
the rules of the road say that it normally is the one with the obstruction on their side of the road that must give way.
