ministry of Foreign affairs confirms to TV 2 that the two norwegians have been found dead on the Spanish resort island of Gran Canaria.
the Foreign ministry can confirm that two Norwegian citizens have perished in Gran Canaria. Next of kin is notified, ” says pressetalsperson Kristin Enstad in the ministry of Foreign affairs (UD) to the TV 2.
According to the newspaper Canariajournalen to the two norwegians have been found in an apartment in the city of Puerto Rico on Monday.
the Newspaper writes that it should not have been signs of external injuries or violence, but that they both are sent to autopsy to determine the cause of death.
the state Department will not provide further comment on the case.
According to the newspaper the man is 76 years and the woman 58 years old.
