Motorist ran into on the Funicular railway – Bergens Tidende

A car went through the doors to the Lower station late Wednesday night. – There is suspicion of intoxication, said police.

She tells us that although it all looks dramatic, so is the damage less extensive than she imagined when she got the first phone.

Thank goodness that it was late at night and that no passengers were on their way in and out.

There are no reports of injuries after the dramatic incident. A witness says to BT that bilisten drove forward and back by Funicular railway before it went wrong. Another person who should take the last path home, says:

There is extensive damage to the entrance. The door is destroyed.

Suspicion of intoxication

the Police received a message about the incident at 23. Operasjonsleder Morten Crown says that two people have been implicated in the incident. The driver should be at the end of 30-years, while the passenger was in his mid-20s.



the Owner of the car is born in 1989. The two involved in the incident say that they have got to borrow the car. The police have not received clarity about the votes.

– We have tried to get a hold of the owner, but did not succeed, ” says Crown.

– Is there substance abuse involved?

Two young men involved
