From 8. October taken lokførere in Moss (33), Oslo (3) and Bergen (6) a strike, informs the Norwegian Lokomotivmannsforbund (NLF) in a press release Monday.
Lokførerne have been on strike since Thursday, and 118 lokførere is now taken out.
NLF requires that the level of education for lokførere to tariffestes, something employers NSB and CargoNets will not go on.
– We have never demanded to determine the contents of education. It should State jernbanetilsyn and Norwegian Jernbaneskole do. We require that NSB ending with the dumping of lokførernes education. We require that the NSB puts safety and security first, ” says Rolf Ringdal, forbundsleder in English Lokomotivmannsforbund.
In the message it says that if the NSB had wanted, had lokførerne had a national standard of education. “So simple it could have been. That lokførerne are on strike, explains that if you do not want to maintain a good level of education”, writes the NLF.
