(Dagbladet): A cyclist died when the person was hit by a car on County Road 176 at Gardermoen afternoon.
The cyclist was a result of five cyclists. The other four were unharmed event.
The driver drove on from the spot after the collision, but was arrested not far away after a short time.
– The driver had stopped by itself. Witnesses had seen him and followed and contacted police, said operations Thorleif Skovereng in Raumarike police Dagbladet.
A man in his early 40s from Nannestad arrested. Police believe to have proper motorist.
– The short conversations police had with the man strengthens our suspicion that we have the right person. He has said that he drove the car, said operation manager.
The driver has not been formally questioned yet. Police suspect the driver was intoxicated when it struck out on a blow test. It has also been expanded blood of the accused.
Police would not comment on whether the driver is known to police from previous similar cases.
The four riders and their families of the deceased are handled by health care, police said.
