The police was notified about the discovery clock 15.50. It was the dog walkers who reacted to the bones. The discovery was made by Austbøsletta Hundvåg, about 100 meters from a housing estate.
– We traveled with correctional professionals, and can now determine that it is the remains of a man found. We treat this as a crime scene, said operations manager Charles Bøgild in Rogaland police.
He said they are working to identify the cause of death and identify the person. Police believe there are remains of a man is found.
Operational manager says to Stavanger Aftenblad police keep all options open and can not exclude that it is a crime behind. Three police detective technicians were in the afternoon instead of searching for and certain evidence that could contribute to solving the case.
