The three-page indictment deals with rape and other sexual abuse, severe and sadistic violence and extreme mental manipulation over a period of two years. Conditions occurred so frequently that the prosecutor simply type “more than a hundred times” over a two year period. Deed descriptions are so severe that there is no pressure ethically reproduce them in print.

– My client acknowledges guilt for those portions of the indictment relating to violence but refuses blame for rape record. He believes the sex was voluntary, says the man’s lawyer, Øystein Storrvik, said.

On several occasions she lost consciousness, she suffered severe internal bleeding and fractures, according to the indictment. The case came on the police board only after the hospital, who treated the injuries, reported offense.

The defendant is a 42 year old former champion in his weight class in a martial art. The victim – a seven-year younger woman – was his partner, before they married.

Large strain

– The case is of course a very big strain on my client. She will be present in court and testify on the matters described in the indictment. As far as possible, she will follow the trial, but she will be able to do so, we must decide eventually, says counsel Nadia C. Hall.

The case contains a number of specific aggravating circumstances – because violence and abuse was particularly painful, “having the character of serious abuse,” according to the indictment. The woman neither dared or could oppose the abuse because she feared further violence and because she was heavily intoxicated on drugs that her husband got her to take, said prosecutors.

Attorney Cecilie Schlosser Mills confirmed to NTB she would ask that 42-year-old is sentenced to custody, but would not say anything about the length of the sentence.

She will bring 27 witnesses, including six experts, submit medical certificates, and view videos and photos seized by the police.

– Voluntary group sex

42-year-old will also be linked to a number of other matters that have been discussed in the media, including large sexfest. He has been charged also for conditions in this context, but here it is not yet adopted any prosecution decision.

According to attorney Storrvik have his client and the plaintiff had group sex with “friends and invited” but they have not been part of a swinger environment. 42-year-old argues with force that all sexual activity was voluntarily by all parties.

The case comes up for Oslo District Court on Monday include only violence and abuses defendant’s partner and later wife. What happens to the other conditions, it is too early to say, according to Mills.

– I have not had these issues for me yet, so it is too early to say anything about what is to be done with them, she said.

Oslo District Court has set aside four weeks to discuss the matter.
