Victim receives support from the County – VG

A 14-year-old girl had to change schools because she was bullied. Now think the County of Hedmark that the school did not do enough to stop bullying.

The 14-year-old girl chose to deal with bullying on Facebook. The post was shared over 1,000 times and caused great attention. In the post she switched schools. There goes a lot better.

the County of Hedmark believe Grue Elementary school did not do enough to give her a better school life, writes Aftenposten.

In the preliminary conclusion also states that the school’s action plan against bullying, “apparently not followed throughout the period.” Several of the initiatives that parents wanted, but that the school did not put in place, should have been completed.

– The school felt that I was the problem, but as it was I who was right and who was wrong, it says 14 year old girl.

The conclusion of the County is provisional and the municipality shall give its reply.

Local authority of adolescence in Grue, Anne Berit Gullikstad, would not comment on the matter before the final conclusion is. She says that the school made a mistake when they saw the events as isolated and not made decisions on the matter.

– When we even ask the County to conduct inspections, it is because we are unsure whether we have done worked well enough, she says.
