– I’m considering after conversations with him that his preferred sexual object now is not in prepubertal children, but adults. The court treats a motion from Andersen to be paroled from detention after he has now served completed the minimum term of seven years.

– Striking Change

Narud have considered 62-year-old with forensic psychiatrist Henning Værøy, who was also an expert in the criminal case against Andersen in the District Court and Court of Appeal. The time concluded Værøy and psychologist Paul Grondahl that Andersen was a pedophile.

– Conditions are subject to change and come back. If Andersen in the future should assaults against children, he may be under diagnosed pedophile again, but as he is today, he does not, said Værøy.

The two psychiatrists believe that 62- old has undergone a major change, with good effect of therapy and has taken into account the fact the harm he has caused his victims.

In 2010, said Værøy and Grondahl that they were unsure what kind of effect Andersen would have treatment. Today, says Værøy that Andersen has undergone what he describes as a striking change.

– He currently has good self-insight and reflected, said Værøy in court Thursday.

Stringent conditions

The two concluded that the recurrence risk is nearby if Erik Andersen parole on the strict conditions Correctional Services has set. Psychiatrist Randi Rosenqvist at Ila prison and detention institution where Andersen zones, have come to the same thing.

Correctional Services thinks that it is too early to release Andersen, and the matter must be decided by the court. The case concluded Thursday with the prosecutor Per Egil Volledal and defender Gunhild Lærum keep their procedures.

– Andersen has had few outputs and have not had the opportunity to try their hand at liberty beyond a few hours. There are far too small to be said something about risk, said Volledal in their procedure.
