Anundsen had correct errors in their own commentary after the hearing – Aftenposten

Anundsen had correct errors in their own commentary after the hearing – Aftenposten

Justice Minister Anders Anundsen (FRP) was obviously not prepared for how the hearing would evolve Friday afternoon. That led to the communications department at the ministry to work in high gear throughout the evening, writes BT.no.

The central point that was revealed during the hearing was this:

Police Spikes in POD and PU , those who are responsible for implementing government policy in practice, had not understood the political signals from Anundsen who said that they would not prioritize the dispatch of long remaining asylum children.

Safe on facts

Anundsen was so confident in what police peaks came to say that he already underway in the hearing sent a chronicle of several of the country’s media. It should be on tap Saturday, the day after the hearing.

In this he struck once again determined that the police had understood the “the apparent policy change ‘he had introduced the long remaining asylum children. But the hearing went not the way the justice minister had thought.

Front the ten members of the Control Committee, said police peaks that they had not understood that ANUNDSEN signals that long remaining asylum children should not be prioritized for forced returns. Back stood Anundsen devoid of support from their own leader tops.

– When did you realize that the political signals still was not perceived in the police?

– It came really good first emerged during the hearing, when I came in doubt whether they had perceived political principles, said Anundsen.

– In an article in Bergens Tidende Saturday, so you say something else?

– Well, I hope he is not preprinted, responds justice minister, before he turns to one of his political advisers, raises forefinger and states:

– It must fix.

Had to change

Shortly afterwards calling communication manager in the Ministry of Justice, Gunnar Johansen , BT and require that they get to make changes to the features already made ready for printing.

The changes were not large, but has vital importance. In the first chronicle writes Anundsen following about how the police had perceived his signals the long remaining asylum children:

“PU other words familiar with the changing priorities and says that they let it assumed in their work. “

In the edited version can read the following:

” PU should other words been familiar with the changing priorities. “

Not everything was “wrong”

The last edition of the chronicle is also on tap at among others VG and NRK. Also to these editorial called Justice around Friday night to get changed content.

Anundsen also used the opportunity to correct another thing Friday night. In the original chronicle her he writes the following:

“Bergens Tidende has in recent weeks been the premises for journalists and commentators in the national press. The problem is that most premises are wrong. “

In the new version, this directed to:

” The problem is that many of the premise is wrong ” .

“Extremely embarrassing”

This is not a time-do the political leadership of the Ministry of Justice troble with the written word in this matter. In Monday’s BT admitted Undersecretary Joran Kallemyr (FRP) that the Justice Department had adhered to an erroneous translation of the Afghan asylum protest.

Abid Raja (V) was very critical of Anundsen during Friday hearing Control Committee in Parliament. He believes the justice minister last letter error must be “Extremely embarrassing” for the justice minister.

– Although I blush a little on his behalf, said Raja, adding:

– He has been extremely high and dark in chronicle circulated across all media to win the truth – and it turns out therefore to be adapted truth as it has gradually emerged. This is not good. Not good at all. Here adapts justice minister himself as facts come forward. This is very unflattering.

– Not only is this embarrassing, but it is also very serious, because this shows that justiministerens version depends on what the other says. He adapts his version since. This is not trustworthy, says Raja.

Hans Fredrik Grøvan from government other cooperative party, the Christian Democratic Party, believes this underlines that ANUNDSEN information to control and kostitusjonskomiteen before the hearing that the police had understood priorities change whatsoever inconsistencies.

– A further underscore the extremely poor communication and lack of focus on priorities change from ANUNDSEN page. Embarrassing for Anundsen writes Grøvan in an SMS to BT.

– Lacking respect

Centre Party Pe Olaf Lundteigen endorses also dumbfounding to information that ANUNDSEN people had to call around the country newsrooms Friday evening to change errors in chronicle.

– This is very embarrassing. Of course there is.

Jette Christensen (Ap), a member of the Control Committee, believes chronicle Anundsen sent out yesterday afternoon shows a lack of respect for the hearing.

– Here justice minister concluded what would appear in the hearing before the hearing is held. It shows a tremendous arrogance. In addition he took the wrong, said Christensen.

She thinks it’s serious that the Minister of Justice first found out that the police had not understood the political signals during the hearing Friday.

-Anundsen have a much bigger problem than his relationship with Parliament. It seems as if the Minister does not know how he will govern police.

– Important with hearing

Bård Vegar Solhjell (SV), rapporteur for consultation on asylum children, believes chronicle just shows how important it is with open hearings in Parliament.

– Until it began believed Minister of Justice that policy change was understood. After the hearing, it was not possible for someone to say that policy change was understood. It is a story someone has tried to tell who cracked yesterday. I am absolutely sure that agencies and political leadership had coordinated themselves. What happened was that after the inside cutting issues emerged that policy change was not understood, says Solhjell.

BT has requested an interview with the political leadership. In the e-mail reply gives the following explanation chronicle mistake.

– The article was directed that it be absolutely precise, State Secretary Joran Kallemyr (FRP).
