According Kreken’s landslide about 150 meters wide and started about 500 meters up the mountainside.

– The slide parted in the middle, now says some animals stuck between the river and the slide. We are trying to rescue them now.

Only luck

It should be between 70 and 80 people in the area, but no person shall thus have been taken off the slide.

– It’s just luck. There are many animals and several outbuildings that were taken by the landslide. Fortunately no people, says Tom Kreken, who live just below where soil slide halted.

– I saw several outbuildings that were taken, but no houses people live in, says Kreken.

Animals are stuck

He describes a violent blow before it slid down the mountain.
