It is particularly proposals for longer shifts and more Sunday work that gets Folkestad to react.
– changes reinforces the role of employers. It provides less opportunity for us to take care of our members. It seems that this is Eriksson’s motive, says Folkestad.

– Work Act currently contains good and flexible solutions adaptations of working time. Instead of exploiting this, change government law in a direction that gives a tougher labor for the individual worker, says deputy LO Hans-Christian Gabrielsen.
Virke think the rule changes the Minister of Labour presented Friday are “watered” and not in line with business expectations.

– If the analyzes are correct, we need 90,000 new health workers in Norway. When pliers we both youth and seniors. Therefore, we propose changes to this part of the law, said Eriksson.
He stressed that it was not about changing the retirement age, but facilitating that over 67 should be able to have the opportunity to stand in work anymore. He also attacked counterargument that we must ensure that people should have a dignified exit for employment, stating that they believe it is shameful that older workers must take their case to the Supreme Court to stand in the workplace.
