(Dagbladet): A 62 years old man was last night found dead in an apartment in Fairlight in Bergen.
The deceased stepson, a 28 year old man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault resulting in death.
Found with head injuries
The time 18.54 yesterday police received notification of a lifeless person in an apartment on the Wadden Myra in Fairlight. Police came out with AMK and found a dead man.
According to BT, the man was found by his partner with major head injuries, in the apartment they both live in.
– Based on tracks apartment and found around the deceased, we implemented immediate measures to find out what was possible cause of death, says Station Tore Salvesen at Bergen west precinct at a press conference.
Police have arrested deceased stepson and charged him with bodily harm resulting in death. The man was arrested in Bergen municipality, in another part of town than the apartment building, and shall have until recently lived in a neighboring municipality.
Both deceased and the accused are former acquaintance of the police.
– Police has any information about a possible motive, but it is too early to see more about it now, says police lawyer Janne Heltne.

Police would not comment on how it looked in the apartment when the man was found. They have so far had crime technicians on site and collected DNA traces.
They will now undertake surveys in the area and further examination of witnesses, and they will also attempt to interrogate the accused. He has so far not been questioned.
– We are just at the beginning of the investigation and I therefore ask for your understanding that we can not go into details on the background to the indictment.
– We are pleased that we have been able to uncover so much in such a short time. So the further investigation could reveal a possible motive and events, says Salvesen.
62-year-old today will be autopsied at the Gade Institute. The accused will probably was produced for remand on Monday.
