Siv Jensen: – There is no crisis – VG

Siv Jensen: – There is no crisis – VG

Finance Jensen (FRP) states that it does not come any package of measures to salvage the economy. The answer is lower taxes.

– We have long known that we would meet a time for reorganization of the Norwegian economy. It’s here. We pointed in the state budget both on oil investment should fall next year and uncertainty about oil prices. What is beyond doubt is that this is a reorganization, not a crisis, says finance minister Siv Jensen to Dagens Næringsliv.

She thinks oil prices fall and dime collapse can not be compared with the situation Norway faced during the financial crisis.

– When we met it with temporary stimulus packages where the whole goal was to get back to normal. It is not the situation now. Now we will a new normal situation. How it behaves depends on what instruments we use, she said.

– Labor may dislike this very much, but does not come from a necessary discussion about the level of taxation in the future. It is crucial for the competitiveness of Norwegian business and the ability to get new entrepreneurs, businesses and new jobs, says Jensen.

Jensen believes the situation now shows that all that was critical that she smeared state budget with too many oil money , was wrong.

– The budget is extremely well adapted to the economic situation. Hence the need for the other parties that would tighten to go in itself. It would be wrong to tighten more next year.
