The Norwegian Meteorological Institute has issued OBS forecast and warns of strong rain and thunderstorms in eastern Norway. NPRA warns motorists.
Precipitation amounts may be between 30 and 60 millimeters in a three-hour period.
There is thus a danger of local flooding, small mudslides and debris flows where squalls hit, writes Meteorological Institute of OBS forecasts.

– There will be quite small showers, but with heavy rain in every squall. Some places will get a lot of rain, while others will get quite small, says Marit Helene Jensen meteorologist at the Meteorological Institute to VG. She describes showers typical summer showers.
