Fire in mast gives unpowered train line – Aftenposten

Two NSB train was standing inside the Oslo Tunnel while the fire department work to extinguish a fire in a mast on Skoyen Saturday morning.

There were three trains in the tunnel when it caught fire in the tower.

– One train had begun to run from Oslo S. About 30 people were escorted on foot back to the platform on Oslo S again. Another train stood at the National Theatre station. So the passengers on the train could go by train again, says Kjell Bakken, pressevakt in Rail.



Airport Express train stood for an hour

– One train, Airport Express, was standing in the tunnel in well over an hour with about 15 passengers, said Bakken.

Airport Express was on its way from Oslo Airport.

No injuries

Police reported the fire in a transformer in the 9 o’clock Saturday morning. It turned out that there is a mast that has caught fire.
