Police have so far not confirmed if it is the missing Veronica Heggheim Step Fence (22), but there are no other women who are reported missing in the area.

Difficult for family
– We have had ongoing contact with police throughout the day. The family is very tough, says the family’s counsel Synne Catrin float to TV 2.

Police working on the identification of the deceased woman was found by a hiker at Barsnes Fjord.

NCIS assists in autopsy
The dead woman was found in the beachfront on the south side of Barsnes Fjord to Sogndal in the 13 o’clock Friday.
The site is located less than a mile from the end of Årøyelven, near the missing 22-year-old home. It was a jogger who discovered the body.
The deceased woman is transported to the Gade Institute in Bergen, where she is scheduled to be autopsied Saturday morning.
Two correctional professionals from NCIS to assist during the autopsy.
– We hope the autopsy will provide answers to the cause of death and how long the woman has been dead, says regional sheriff Asle Karoliussen in Sogndal to TV 2 Friday night.
Police have not yet formally autopsied the dead woman.
Shall have been subjected to threats
TV 2 is illuminated by sources that the missing 22-year-old should have been subjected to violence and intimidation before she disappeared.
These threats must have come from an environment in Sogndal where 22-year-old was a resident.
