There are more women than men between 62 and 66 years of age who have yrkesinntekt without taking out the old age pension. Huge outpouring between women and men in the private sector
Far more women than men work without taking out the pension.
63 percent of men and 37 per cent of women between 62 and 66 years in the private sector took out early retirement pension in 2014.
Advisor Alexandra Plahte in Gabler Steenberg and Plahte believe the difference is due to different accumulated pension.
– That the proportion who take out tidliguttak is lower for women than men, probably due to the fact that there are far more women than men who do not have sufficient pension to be able to start tidliguttak already from the age of 62 years, says Plahte, pointing out that this will typically be women who have worked part-time in the “all” years.
the Difference between men and women. The proportion of men has higher accumulated pension benefits. Women who have worked part-time do not have a high enough pension from the national insurance fund.
It is more common for men in the age group 62-66 years than for women of the same age to work in the private sector. Well, seven of the ten men in this group work in the private sector, while six out of ten women on the other hand jobs in public.

Early retirement is most common in the private sector
In 2011 came pensjonsreformen in power. It made it possible to combine work and flexible withdrawal of retirement pension for persons between the ages of 62 and 66 years of age.
Around 45 per cent of employed men between 62 and 66 years who take out early retirement. The corresponding proportion among self-employed women in this age group is 18 per cent.
Plahte believe that the contractual pension (AFP) in the private sector will contribute to increased tidliguttak. The withdrawal of the AFP requires that you start withdrawing retirement pensions from the Norwegian labour and Welfare administration.
– Since the rules of the AFP’s brutal in the sense that you either meet the conditions or not, many people are choosing – naturally – to begin the withdrawal of the AFP as soon as possible. Then one must also start the withdrawal of the retirement pensions from the Norwegian labour and Welfare administration, says Plahte.
at the same time as the proportion of economically active in the age group 62-66 years increases, there is a growing number that combines work with the early withdrawal of retirement.
Plahte have the impression that many who are considering tidliguttak don’t intend to stop working.
They just want to make the most possible, at the earliest possible. Even if the pension be adjusted lower during the payout than when it is in Nav, wants a lot of flexibility and the ability to be able to invest and put their money, ” says Plahte.
That men in general to a greater extent take out the early retirement pension, apply no matter the level of education. The proportion of men with both age and yrkesinntekt is thus relatively large, even among those with short higher education, 35 per cent.
