Justice Minister Anders Anundsen (40) has stated that he will not seek re-election to Parliament.
– There is an overall assessment on which shallow. I have worked in politics since I was quite young and will next year have twelve years behind me in Parliament and in government, says Anundsen said.
He has given nomination committee in own party in Vestfold told that he is not seeking re-election.
He is the third FRP minister who declined re-election in Parliament. Before then, the Minister of Transport Ketil Solvik-Olsen and deputy and Fisheries Per Sandberg said that they will not stand for a second term.
Not finished with politics
He stressed that he neither finished with politics or with FRP, but will not answer directly whether he wants to continue in government if it becomes bourgeois electoral victory next year.

– A minister sits as minister while he was minister, said Anundsen.
Anundsen is thus one of several current key politicians with Minister backgrounds who have declined re-election. Both Minister Torbjørn Røe Isaksen (H), former Minister of Education Bård Vegar Solhjell (SV) and former aid-Minister Heikki Holmås (SV) has declined re-election.
FpU leader outsider
Among the leading candidates to take over the top place on the nomination list for Vestfold Progress Party after Anundsen counted parliament Morten Stordalen from Re, which had the second place in the last election.
Another name is Ellen Eriksen who is currently employed by the Progress Party headquarters.
FpU leader Bjørn-Kristian Svendsrud is also from Vestfold and the party’s program committee.
– I think it’s sad and sorry that Anders lends itself at Parliament, says Svendsrud VG.
FpU leader does not deny that he has ambitions parliamentary seat, but will not answer how important it is to get first or second place on the nomination list.
– I have set myself at the disposal of the list, he said.
Anundsen deputy Tom Holthe is not a candidate for parliament in 2017.
