Found dead cat in return cooker Bømlo – NRK

South West police investigator found a violation of the Animal Welfare Act.



– I was quite shocked

– One of the residents on the top floor was startled into our store and asked if we knew what lay in the parking lot, but we knew that the not, says Kjell Økland.

– You reckon the not want anyone to find a dead cat in a steikeovn. That someone can do such a thing, says Økland shocked.

The shop owner says that the stove was open and that he is sure that someone has killed the cat.

– Yes, it does not jump in there and dauer by itself.

Økland run a furniture shop in Svortland center in Bømlo. In the same building has Elkjøp store and the parking lot outside takes the contrary utkassserte white and brown goods.

The space was cleared on Thursday of last week, so the stove and the cat has ended up there after that. Bømlo-again wrote about the case first.



The cat is probably strangled

Kjell Økland announced Wednesday afternoon the macabre discovery to the police.

– We believe it is choked of oxygen deficiency.

The police have been in contact with a person possibly the owner of the cat, but this is not confirmed.
