Slungård gets new city manager in Stjørdal – Adresseavisen

The case is updated.

In mid-August, it became clear that the former mayor of Trondheim, Anne Kathrine Slungård, had applied for the job as city manager in Stjørdal.

Now she got the job, reports Trønder-Avisa. A unanimous appointment committee nominates Anne Kathrine Slungård as new councilman, according to information Trønder-Avisa sits on.

– I have no comment. There is a hiring process underway, says Slungård Adresseavisen Sunday night.

Mayor Ivar Vigdenes (Sp) Stjordal said to Adresseavisen that he did not wish to comment at this time.

– Staffing Committee under the leadership of me working on it. The Presidency has also recruiting a new city manager upstairs that personnel in the upcoming chairmanship meeting on Thursday. There is otherwise no other organs than the council to appoint a new city manager in Stjørdal, writes Vigdenes in an sms to Adresseavisen.

Slungård was Trondheim’s youngest mayor ever when she ruled the city between 1998-2003. Since then she has held a number of directorships and management positions in business. Since 2010 she has been president of Young Enterprise, with offices in Oslo.
