– We have that large communities have a shared responsibility to prevent, says Labor leader Jonas Gahr Støre, the Times.
He believes prevention against extremism happens in everyday life, where the dense communities is the main arena: friends, family, associations and religious communities.
– An important responsibility is the mosque, and I would encourage managers to take this responsibility seriously, often in dialogue with the local police, says Minister, who also said he would be very cautious about giving others the responsibility for the choices individuals have taken.
– Muslims in Norway are equally adamant to distance from violence and terror as others, they do not deserve to be looked at with suspicious eyes because of their faith, says Minister.
