AMK-center at Førde Central informs NRK late Wednesday night that the 57 years old man was critically injured and receive intensive treatment.
Man was retrieved lifeless out of the water, and health care professionals immediately started lifesaving treatment.
– I was down at six or seven meters deep and picked him up, says 57-year-old friend Frode Briksdal to Bergens Tidende.
– We are puzzled over what has happened. It was totally flat sea when the accident happened. Police have also examined the boat and concluded that it was technically good condition, he said.
Two more people fell out of the boat, but these managed to swim to shore on his own hand and are unharmed, said operations manager Kjetil Drange in Sogn og Fjordane police said. (© NTB)
