He is one of the nearest neighbors to the place where a young woman was allegedly raped between the hours of 2:20 and 2:30 on Friday night July 18th.
Heard nothing
The same night went Sandmo from Furuset center, past Furuset nursing homes and home to Kurland path.
When the young woman went there an hour later, she was grossly attacked and raped by an unknown man on a lawn between the blocks Kurland path 44 and 46.
– I sat and watched TV until three o’clock at night, but heard nothing, says Sandmo.
The woman is in her teens.
Can be monitoring pictures
Police said to TV 2 on Wednesday that a surveillance camera may have caught the rapist and the victim woman.
– There are some pictures before this happened, which may be the two. Aggrieved be down at police headquarters in Oslo and try to identify the pictures, says head of section for sexual crimes, Kari-Janne Lid.
Was anxious in the dark – then she discovered him

– She has cried and yelled, so you may have heard something.
The police are working to contact people who live in the area and also retrieve images from surveillance cameras that are set up nearby.
Teen Woman
Police ask people who live in the area or have been in the area in the period in question to contact the police.
The woman was wearing a light jacket and a skirt.
The offender is described as between 20 and 30 years, be slightly dark skin, have dark hair and a large dark beard. He must have been wearing a thin, dark leather jacket and dark jeans.
Witnesses are asked to contact police on telephone 22 66 94 30.
