– When we have received reports from Rogaland Police District, it is natural that we sit down and consider whether it may or may not be a need for alignment or clarification of instructions, procedures or materials, said Acting Deputy Director in the Directorate of Police Department for police preparedness and crisis management, Sture M. Vang, said.
Directorate has developed routines for carrying of weapons, but the details are made public.
– Police Directorate has not allowed to go into detail when it comes to police routines for weapons use, says Vang.
