Coldest July weather since 1996 – Romsdals Budstikke

July weather this year was marked by night frost in Hordaland and the coldest water temperatures in 18 years along the southern coast.

– The reason that many are unhappy for years, enough that we had a wonderfully warm July last year . Compared with it, year in July has been very cool, explains climatologist Jostein Mamen.



Normally cool

Normal temperature in July is cool and it will not be deviation large.

Long-term forecast for Romsdal shows a good mix of rain, sun and cloudy sky – as it has been in recent weeks.

On Thursday it still reported plenty of sunshine and temperatures of around 20 degrees. The temperature will remain so on Friday, but then reports yr.no heavy rain across our area – most afternoons. This forecast is uncertain.
