Emergency services who managed to Bodø Airport after mayday signal from an F-16 aircraft in the evening, said fire department in Bodø.
– A F-16 that was headed for landing has problems with landing gear. They are still out flying, said rescue Tore Hongset by JRCC in Northern Norway Dagbladet in 16 o’clock.
Emergency services stood ready on the ground when the plane was about to land. Approximately 16.10 landed the plane safely and the male pilot onboard was ok, informs the defense of Dagbladet.
