Exploration crews began late Saturday night search for a 83-year-old woman who earlier in the evening was reported missing from his home in Tweed in Tysvær municipality in Rogaland.
The woman was last seen by a neighbor around 18:30 pm Saturday night. She has poor sense of place, and the family fears that she has gone astray, said operations manager Svein Roald Vikse Haugaland and Sunnhordland police.
Police, JRCC Southern Norway, voluntary rescue organizations and family members of the woman has initiated search area. Norwegian Rescue Dogs have sent two dogs on site to assist.
The woman is 164 centimeters and has short straight hair. She was wearing white knitted hat, blue fabric jacket with buttons, beige pattern in the middle of the thighs and low shoes.
