Carl I. throat Left-Grande – VG

TØNSBERG (AP) FRP chief Hagen intervene in congress Left. He asks about 40 responses from the Liberal leader Trine Skei Grande.

– I’m sitting down here in Spain and supplied, said the former Progress Party leader by phone to VG.

– You follow the Liberal congress from Spain?

– Yes, I annoys me when I see the snaking their.

– I must say that I react to it Skei Grande and the Liberals have done in the immigration policy. Before Christmas set Left up in a wide asylum settlement with the other parties, based on 18 different areas that you agree. Then follows immigration and integration minister Sylvi Listhaug during Christmas up with 40 specific proposals which she sends to the Storting.

– What happens then? Jo Skei Grande go out and say that they are against all the 40 proposals! It’s unbelievable. Man can not do so when only a few months ago was part of a broad compromise.

– It must be possible to disagree, even if one is a support party for the government?

– Yes, I totally agree. But one can not disagree with all 40. I challenge Skei Grande to answer each of the 40 proposals. In politics, it is about taking and giving, to seek compromises. Should she and Left have any credibility, I think they should deal with the 40 proposals point by point and say what they disagree and and what they are willing to discuss.

Want dialogue

– the natural is that they enter into dialogue with the government about the proposals that are now out for public consultation, which Listhaug presented during Christmas. Take for example one of the following: The proposed requirement for four years’ employment or education in Norway before family reunification can take place. Instead of saying no, she can propose 3 1/2 years, or three. So I think they should go through the suggestions for finding compromises. To reject all is unserious, Hagen says, adding:

– Last autumn, Norway was in a very stressful situation because of all those who came to Norway. I also think Left must realize that Listhaug and government clear signals and new policy meant that the pressure is reduced.

Listhaug have in our submitted a revised asylum austerity proposals.

Sierhagen wrong

Liberal leader Trine Skei Grande leaves the central director of the Liberal Party, Guri Melby, who also sits on the Oslo City council together Hagen to answer.

– Hagen wrong. Left stuck on the wide asylum settlement before Christmas. Therefore, we presented our own sober austerity package in line with the broad settlement. The problem is that FRP has put forward proposals that violate this agreement because they are more concerned with highlighting FRP than getting majority support for its policies. Even Jonas Gahr Støre has said that the proposals are right for right. Left hopes for support from Labor for our more sober austerity package, says Melby.

proposing to Labor

She says that the Liberals agree that there is a need for tightening asylum policy.

– So we forward 40 proposals for tightening a few weeks ago, because FRP must not run free to challenge the law and extend our international obligations to the utmost. Therefore, I hope the Labor will look into our more sober austerity package, says Melby.

Here is the Liberals’ own suggestions.

– I hope treatment in Parliament will show that FRP not have majority its asylum policy, and now that the Conservatives have abdicated in immigration and asylum policy is essential to achieve thorough negotiations between all parties behind asylum settlement, says Melby.
