There will be rain at Pentecost – Drammen Times

NORWAY: The whole country should plan on some rainfall at Pentecost, but southern and eastern Norway are largely spared.

State Meteorologist Vibeke Thyness by the Norwegian Meteorological Institute describes Eastern and partly Soerlandet Pentecost værvinnere. There will be the longest periods of dry weather and also highest temperatures.

– The best weather is in the lowlands Østafjells, down telemark coast and the South Coast. But here too, expected rainfall during the Whitsun days. Saturday is clearly the best, while it may be pretty good also on Monday said Thyness said.

She also recommends people in the southeastern parts of the country to dress well.

– It is generally cool, but Saturday in eastern can be very nice weather wise. It may be up to 16-17 degrees if you’re lucky. But one must be sheltered from the wind if it should feel just great. It’s okay with a jacket on the sly.

On the website yr.no notified simultaneously decreasing temperatures in mountain roads from Friday night. The transition to snow showers provide local difficult conditions for areas throughout southern Norway.
