- DNA from murder accused found on the underwear of Monika (8) – Dagbladet.no

Police in Oslo have found DNA of eight-year-old Monika Sviglinskajas underwear that is consistent with the murder accused Lithuanians DNA, skirver VG.

DNA structure from the accused 33-year-old is found on the pants and singlet her eight year old wore the day she was found dead, writes the newspaper.

Previously, Public Health found DNA consistent with the accused in the girl’s palms, on one arm, fingers and neck.

DNA tracks will be further evaluated by two foreign experts as to whether it is possible that DNA could originate from the period the accused 33-year-old lived with Monika and her mother, according to the newspaper. He moved out of the apartment a month before Monika died.

Lita Redfish is charged with having killed Monika Sviglinskaja Sotra near Bergen. She was found dead on 14 November 2011.

The case was initially dismissed as suicide, but was resumed after pressure from the bereaved.
