LATEST 16.50: Police said the relatives have identified the man who was found at the bottom of the water is the missing 58-year-old Per Gallefos.
After a ubåtsøk in Kile Water confirms police Monday afternoon that a man person is found in the water.
- There is a man person who was found at 31 meters depth. This is not far from the place where the missing 58-year-old was last seen, says operations manager Geir Kastmo in Telemark police.
But police say it is too early to say whether it is the 58 year old that has been found.
Divers were requisitioned to pick up the man, and crime technicians were also sent to the site to investigate.
On Monday afternoon, police said that the man is taken out of the water.
It was Saturday morning that 58-year-old friend contacted police.
The two had gone to Kile water fishing and overnight in tents. When buddy woke up, lay not 58-year-old in his place. After searching the area himself, he contacted police who launched a search party.
It continued throughout the weekend, with searchers from both civil defense, police and Red Cross. Saturday was a Sea King helicopter put into the search and Monday morning was therefore an ROV (remotely operated underwater vehicle / submarine) inserted in the search.
