A man is taken to hospital with serious injuries after he should have been cut with a chopper in a basement apartment in Førre in Tysvær in Rogaland Wednesday night.

A man in his 20s has been arrested, charged with aggravated assault. The suspect described as an acquaintance of the police.
– The reports from our people on site say that the victim, who was taken to hospital, had jigsaws or cut injuries to the neck and arms. Injuries are serious, but his condition is currently uncertain, says operations manager Tore Frøyland-Jensen in Haugaland and Sunnhordland police.
Surgical manager says that the injuries the man is applied, consistent with the use of knives or chopper.
