Got monitored

At the police in Salten are they satisfied with what became a success story for the fuzz.

– This arrest is the result of an international law enforcement cooperation, and we are very pleased, said police superintendent Øystein Røsnes in Salten police district.

For the Estonians never knew then went on aboard the ferry in Tallinn, was that the police followed. On our way to Stockholm were Swedish police notified by Europol, and these again gave further notice to NCIS when Estonians were moving into Norway.

On Thursday night was the four men arrived at Salten and now took over local police .

– On the basis of the quality of the intelligence was initiated surveillance of these four, says Røsnes.

– Crucial cooperation

and undercover proved that to be very successful. Since Sunday morning, the four sat in police custody and all four are being questioned.

– Because we have followed them as closely as we have done, so is the case virtually fully investigated. But it remains to understand which criminal matters they may be suspected of abroad, says Røsnes.

He says that cooperation through Europol is essential.

– It is absolutely crucial to success in combating this type of crime that takes place across borders. Without international cooperation, it will be virtually impossible, he said.

Sunday’s burglary attempt is the latest of four burglaries or attempted break-in “Precise Clocks & Gold” in Bodø. In 2013 tried four people to settle through the windows of the store with a sledgehammer, without success.

These four are still at large, but Røsnes says that they do not suspect that there is a connection.

– Nothing suggests it, the procedure this time more similar to the first two burglaries back in 2009.
