Farmers organizations butcher government Deals – Hamar Dagblad

The state offers farmers 90 million kroner. It is less than one tenth of peasant organizations’ claims of 950 million.

– All answers whatsoever on agricultural demands for increased revenue opportunities to increase Norwegian food production. It is very disturbing that the government does not take Parliament’s demands for more food on Norwegian soil seriously, says manager Lars Petter Bartnes in Norwegian Farmers ‘Union.

Norwegian Farmers’ Union and Norwegian Farmers and Smallholders Union should now consider whether the offer from the state and provides a basis for negotiations.
