Landslide in Sauda at 15 o’clock Sunday. There are approximately 30 meters wide and has gone by Kyrkjenuten, down towards Slettedalen, Sauda. Kyrkjenuten is a popular topppturmål. It is uncertain whether people are taken by exceeded.
Police writes on Twitter that they have crawled mudslide, but found nothing.
Both police with avalanche dogs, Air Ambulance, Sea King, Norwegian rescue dogs and Red Cross va on site for 17-hours. A landslide group were flown in by helicopter.
– A notifier have seen ski tracks into landslide area. We do not know if this is new or old track. No one is reported missing, but we take no chances, said operations manager Terje Tonning at Haugaland and Sunnhordland police to Stavanger Aftenblad earlier today.
