1. New Year’s Day, it is clear that 13 people were injured after year celebration with fireworks. Four of the 13 are seriously injured.

– The nine others have eye injuries that are moderately severe. None of the injured report having used goggles, said Dr. Nils Bull at ophthalmology department at Haukeland University to BA.

Three of the injured are from Bergen, said Bull.

All the injured are men, most between 18 and 40 years. One of the injured is a boy of 17 years, but none of the injured are young children.

One of the injured is a 18 year old man from Bergen. He should have been hit by a firework battery, and was sent to Haukeland hospital in an ambulance just after midnight.
