This is a tragic incident, which of course shocks us. We have lost a worker, and it is absolutely terrible. The work is now of course stopped and we have started investigation of the incident, ” says Heimdahl.

How long the work will be stopped is currently uncertain.

It is too early to say. Our focus is now to take care of work colleagues, and see what they need of time, before we get started again.

– Must think safety every day

NCC writes on their website that they have a zero vision when it comes to accidents, and that they are working systematically to reduce the number of accidents.

– This shows just how important it is with a zero vision. We have to think safety every single day, and here we show that we do not have managed it, ” says Heimdahl.

Is there anything that suggests that routines have been broken?

– we can’t say anything about now. We assist the police and the labour Inspection authority, and we do an own internal investigation to find out what has happened. We have to wait until the investigation is completed before we can say anything about it, ” says Heimdahl.
