Boy (2) critically injured after falling from the second floor – NRK

The police was notified about the incident by some at 19 Friday night. Baby diaper discovered by a person who was on his way past the residence. It was the person who first made contact with emergency services.

A little later at 21 informs Stavanger University Hospital that the child, a boy born in 2014, received critical injuries. The condition is unstable.



Hit the asphalt

– The nappy called police and ambulance. We had a police close, which came first ahead and drove the child to the emergency department at CIS, said operations in South Western Police District in Stavanger, Tor Helge Hallstavik.

The boy fell from a window and down on the pavement.

According to Hallstavik was the child’s guardian in the same building when the accident happened, but then not self-fall. They went with the child to the hospital, according to Operations Officer.

– The police are now at the house, and making investigations at the scene, lighted Hallstavik at 19.45, and specifies that they look at the incident as an accident.



No accused or suspect in the case

According Hallstavik there is nothing to suggest that the incident is anything other than a tragic accident. No per Friday night at 21.30 accused or suspect in the case.

– This is tragic for parents, says Hallstavik.

The boy is born in 2014, but police have not yet turned two years.
