Plea in VG-disclosure: Attorney ordered the abduction of rape victim – NRK

Lawyer Amir Mirmotahari (38) was the defender of one of two men who were accused of raping a 40 year old woman by the Aker River in August 2013. It is in this context that he should have ordered a disappearance commission from a torpedo.

in the recording VG have accessed says Mirmotahari that they must try to get hold of the woman and that the client is informed that it would cost him 20,000 crowns.

– since she’s junkie lady then it is somehow not so careful … people do not do anything with it, huh. Waking up with a dose, right. And so one goes and checks her blood, she was drugged like hell, huh. Also, she says: “I’ve been kidnapped” – yes, but “who”, “how”, she not remember anything, huh. Just wake up somewhere else. So … but it’s like it to get a person to be away or sleep for three days.

– It sounds brutal

When VG plays footage of him says Mirmotahari following:

– I’ve said this. It sounds harsh, it’s unfortunate. But it never happened anything.

The investigation was never conducted. Rape victim met in court and Mirmotaharis client was sentenced to five years in prison.

It is the torpedo that has given VG recording. Defense lawyer admits that the conversation took place, but says that it happened because he and his family were threatened by torpedo and that it was never intended that anything should happen to the woman.

the lawyer claims VG that recording probably was made to push him to work with a group he did not want to be associated with, and the call is taken out of context. This he repeats to NRK.

– It is on the basis of his threats, extortion, and behavior that we have been equipped with security alarm. The family has lived at a secret address over time, says Mirmotahari NRK.

Was sentenced

The lawyer says that the relationship is reported to the police and PST will be informed of the torpedo associations and activities.

Mirmotahari says to NRK that he tonight have been called in to police. Police could not confirm this.

He tells NRK that he sits on the materials that will put the matter in a different light.

– The police have been informed that I’m sitting on some material basis and I have said that I would come back to this when it becomes relevant.

– Why have not you added this material forward until VG lookup?

– I’ve had dialogue with the police about this and it has been agreed that I should enter and submit new information, so there has been dialogue with the police since the case was reviewed.

he says that story will be clearer in the morning and would not elaborate on what material he should surrender.

Do you find yourself that you have acted reprehensible?

– I will not comment on that but I will continue in my job fremtil some say that from the overall context has been no real about this. There has not been any real over this conversation, it’s a setup, says Mirmotahari.

– I never heard the like

General Merete Smith Bar Association says the Evening News that she has never heard about a similar case.

– If that appears in VG is correct, then it is very serious and absolutely terrible. It goes against all basic values, as a lawyer stands for and work for. It goes against everything our regulations. As depicted in VG, it can also be a criminal offense, Smith said.

she emphasizes that she is glad that the actions were never carried out, but looks very serious that a lawyer at all has initiated such a thing, would VG allegations prove to vote. We now expect the Secretary-General that the police are going to investigate the issue.

– We’ll see what they scoot by fact. If this should prove to be correct, he is in my opinion not fit to be a lawyer, and I suppose practicing certificate committee also will look into the matter. But he should of course be allowed to be heard and to present its side of the case.
