Two children hit in Arna – Bergens Tidende

Two boys of seven and eight years is bruised after they were hit by Ådnamarka school in Arna in Bergen.

the boys were sent by air ambulance to Haukeland University Hospital at 15 o’clock. Both were conscious when emergency services arrived at the scene of an accident, but their condition was then described as critical.

Just before the clock 17 Monday enlightens however Bergen Health that the two boys, seven and eight years old, is bruised. Both are hospitalized at Haukeland.



Hit by cab

The police, fire and ambulance who managed to Eikhaugen in Arna when the accident was reported at 2:41 p.m. Monday. The ambulance was promoting five minutes after the accident were notified.

– The feedback from the crew of the place is that there are two boys in seven to eight years old who is hit by a cab, said Terje Magnussen, Senior Operations in Western police.

the principal of Ådnamarka school, Linda Haukeland, says that the cab came to school with school run.

– We have students who need to be brought inside the school grounds with car. This happens every day, so there is nothing abnormal in that taxis running in the school yard. We do not know why the accident happened, but I hope it goes well with the boys. They are students at our school, says Haukeland.

A person at the scene said the Bygdanytt that children must have added and soaking up the sun when they were hit by a car. The information was not confirmed by the police.
