Autopsy Report by 13-year-old’s death ready. Have not questioned sifted mother … – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Mora to the 13-year-old girl who died in Beitostolen on New Year’s Eve is charged with gross neglect.

Today informs Inland police that the final autopsy report after death is clear. The preliminary autopsy report showed that 13-year-old probably died of emaciation at the family cabin.

– The final autopsy report was submitted this week. We would not comment on its contents. Nor, we wish to comment on the charges against the mother is strengthened or weakened by the investigation, only that it remains unchanged, said police attorney Mari Lauritzen Hasle Dagbladet.

Do not interrogated

It was held remand for the accused mother for 40 years in Dublin District Court on January 6 this year. She was not in custody, but after the police just questioned her once.

– We’re not there and still want interrogation of the accused. It’s not been made questioning since the initial was completed just after the funeral. It is the last and only police interrogation with his mother so laid. We are in dialogue with her defender and want to talk to the accused, says Lauritzen Hasle.

Mora refuses culpability.

Her lawyer, Aasmund O. Sandland, told Dagbladet that his client is not yet ready to be questioned.

– she has stated that she agrees to interview when she is able to carry. This grieving process is not something that goes over in a day. She thinks the investigation is an additional burden which has exacerbated the trauma, and her situation has not been much better than it was in January, says Sandland.

– She wants to exercise the right to explain himself, but it is too early for questioning now. I can say quite bluntly, says Sandland.

Despite the fact that the police have not received the desired interviews with the accused, the police have questioned a number of 13-year-old and his mother’s immediate family and acquaintances.

– We have conducted many interviews. This applies both to acquaintances, family, friends and neighbors, says Hasle.

– Friends and family

In parallel with the police investigation of the mother, the public has investigated its own role in the matter. The investigation establishes that the girl has been abandoned by both the child welfare service in Valdres and child welfare services in Bærum.

It can be seen in a recent audit report which was published in Tuesday.

Police in Inland is in dialogue with the County and the police in Bærum, and whether it will be launched investigations against other government agencies, is one of the police will look at.

– We’re going to spend time reviewing the county governor’s conclusions, and cooperate with the police in Bærum. These reports are something we take into ratings, says Hasle.

Sandland welcomes the reports so far have come from public authorities.

– We expect that these reports eventually form part of the criminal case documents. The contents of the report are not surprising and underpins the mother explained, says Sandland.

Child welfare Criticism

The report by the County of Oppland received child welfare services in both Valdres and Bærum criticism.

It has been previously known that the former received a report of concern from the girl’s former municipality of Bærum on 17 November last year, but concluded that it was urgent to intervene.

Oppland County concludes that child welfare in Valdres has broken hearth protection legal requirements of “appropriate assessment and treatment of concern messages it received.”

The CPS in Bærum received a total of four reports of concern about the girl and has started two wildcat matters both of which have been dismissed in error, according to the County, who believe they have uncovered “specific findings relating to the lack of accountability in the work.”
