(Dagbladet): A man is found dead in the garage under his car in the village of Vanse Farsund municipality in Vest-Agder. According to police the accident happened when the jack failed during repair work, and he got the car over him.
It confirms Per Kristian Klausen Operations in Southern Police District, to Dagbladet.
– There is a man who has run the repair work on his car. Then woke his wife at night and discovered that he was lying in bed. She went out to the garage and found him pinned beneath the car.
Klausen says further emergency was notified of the incident 4:46, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene after they had jacked up the car.
– It was the jack that failed. There is nothing to suggest that this is anything other than an accident, he adds.
