Oslo Catholic Diocese risking several million claims – Aftenposten

– When the issue of membership mess is completed, we expect to be reimbursed money from Oslo Catholic Diocese received in violation of regulations, says Governing Mayor of Oslo Stian Berger Røsland (H), to Our Country.

Monday it was announced that the County of Oslo and Akershus require over 40 million back from Oslo Catholic Diocese. The county governor has concluded that 33 percent of the grant to the diocese last year occurred in people who were invalid enrolled.

Acting Administrative Director of the diocese, Lisa Wade, told Our Land that they are aware that municipalities can come to reclaim aid, but points out that the diocese will appeal the county’s decision to the Ministry of Culture.

– We have an entirely different understanding of the law than the County, said Wade NTB Monday . She pointed out that the issue is legally complex.



Over 40 million
