Man indicted for atrocities against children in eastern – Aftenposten

A man in his 40s from Hadeland is accused of child molestation. Abuse allegedly continued from 2005 until the man was arrested in October 2014.

The man is charged with rape, sexual intercourse and sexual act.

– We have DNA and images that clearly links him to the case. He recognizes something and is reticent on the other, says attorney Inger Marie Støen who is counsel for four of the victims in the case, to Hadeland.no

The man is accused of ten points, for everything from assault rape to possession images of abuse. According to the indictment man should have had at least 60,000 photographs and 2,145 films (total 278 hours) showing abuse of children and animals. He is also accused of having taken pictures after performing their own abuse.

– We have physical evidence, like DNA traces and explanations here, says Attorney Marit Bakkevig Aftenposten.

She describes the case as very serious.

– The fact that a person falls or lures with the children, in addition to being scary and harmful to the child, then it is something that is spreading fear in the surrounding area, it is good to put an end for the kind, says Bakkevig.

Aftenposten come with more.
